ImageARMCHAIR TRAVELLING: I spend too much time on Skyscanner looking at airfare deals and dreaming of travelling during the Covid-19 pandemic. I feature a few totally crazy journeys, and look at the feasibility of carrying these out.

ImageFLYING GLASGOW to LONDON STANSTED... in 8½ HOURS: Why fly with Easyjet between Glasgow and London Stansted, when you can add a little adventure for the same price? I flew with Ryanair, changing aircraft at a mystery location. It also allowed me to see how a 'green' country from the UK processes arrivals and departures during Covid-19.

ImageFLYBE: My last ever flight? - Join me on my Glasgow - Birmingham - Paris CDG flights. With FlyBe experiencing finincial problems, and a buy-out by a consortium including Virgin Atlantic and Stobart Group, the famous purple livery and name of this regional airline was due to change. Who would have guessed the Covid-19 pandemic of 2020 would be the final nail in the coffin.

ImageBRITISH AIRWAYS: I fly with BA on the Brussels - Heathrow - Glasgow route, changing at Terminal 5 Heathrow. While at T5 I show you a horse with a lampshade on its head and the airport lounge which is number one place on my airport lounge bucket list. I devise a cunning plan to gain access to this mystical place.

ImageEMIRATES: BOEING 777... good or bad? I fly Ho Chi Minh City - Dubai - Glasgow and experience the 777 for the first time. How will I enjoy Emirates' food, comfort and inflight entertainment? Emirates have an excellent reputation, so I was looking forward to this experience, even though I was in economy class.

ImageEMIRATES: First impressions of their AIRBUS A380. This was to be my first flight on this amazing aircraft with Emirates. I had flown in business class on British Airways on a number of occasions, but this would be my first experience 'down under' on the lower deck in economy class. How would I enjoy the food, comfort and inflight entertainment?

ImageLOGANAIR: BREATHTAKING SCENERY! This was my first ever flight with Loganair, and it was to be on their Tiree - Glasgow route, and how spectacular was the view! I flew over Mull, the western isles of Scotland and the northern shore of the River Clyde. No inflight meal or entertainment because all of the entertainment was outside the window.

ImageHEBRIDEAN AIR SERVICES: This was to be my most scenic flight ever! I flew Hebridean from Oban to Tiree. When the weather is kind, the scenery of western Scotland rivals anywhere, and on this video you will see the proof. The region might face the Atlantic Ocean, but the water colours hint at the Caribbean. I've heard of people booking this flight as a result of this video.

ImageWIZZ AIR: This was to be my first time on this Hungarian low-cost carrier. I flew Glasgow - Budapest and report on the flight. How does a low cost carrier work? Wizz Air reveals some of the low cost industy's secrets. Also, I have booked Wizz many times for my corporate clients. Would their feedback be correct?

ImageGLASGOW AIRPORT: GHOST AIRPORT! I travel around my local Glasgow Airport perimeter road for an eerie visit around Glasgow Airport during the 2020 Covid-19 lock-down. I witness 14 parked British Airways aircraft, Virgin Atlantic and others, and finish off inside the deserted terminal building.

ImageEMIRATES: Privileged access to their AIRBUS A380! During a busy turnaround at Glasgow Airport, I am fortunate enough to enjoy the Emirates lounge and see all three classes of travel, while keeping out of the way of the cleaners and crew as they busily get ready for the return flight to Dubai.

ImageEMIRATES: Emirates begin their scheduled AIRBUS A380 flights from Dubai to Glasgow. I join aviation fans around the perimeter road to witness this extraordinary bird. It was such an attraction, fans continued to watch the aircraft land and depart until Covid-19 haulted services.

ImageEDINBURGH AIRPORT: I caught a tram to Edinburgh Airport to see how busy or quiet Scotland's busiest airport would be during Covid-19 restrictions. There were more flights on the departure board than expected, but less passengers in the terminal building.

ImageBRITISH AIRWAYS COVID-19 FLIGHT: I fly from Glasgow to Heathrow on a British Airways domestic flight in economy class. I was curious to see what steps were in place to protect passengers, airport staff and airline crew from Covid-19 after lockdown. I was impressed at how seriously BA take these precautions.
