Being on a tight budget, I must keep an eye on flight costs. Most low cost options leave from Edinburgh, and sometimes leave at around 5am-7am. I live in Paisley, which means a journey through the wee hours of the morning to get to Edinburgh in time to pass through security. DAILY DROP:

Daily drop is a free, daily email keeping you up-to-date with travel news and the all-important science of 'travel hacking'. Although the content is directed more towards the USA, it still makes an interesting read for those who love travel and enjoy points and travel hacking. MY BOOK:

'End-to-End' may not end up on The Times bestsellers list, but it has it's uses. Completed in 2019, this journey can no longer be replicated, due to one vital service being scrapped post-Covid, and the likelihood of a British passport holder applying for a Belarus or Russian visa finding their application rejected. 'End-To-End' features the world's longest continuous train journey from Vila Real de Santo Antonio, Portugal, to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The book can be ordered HERE .
